RewardPay is now available in Tax Traders

We’ve heard from accountants across New Zealand: your clients want more flexibility in how they pay tax.

One request came up regularly - the ability to use RewardPay through Tax Traders to pay tax using American Express and earn Airpoints along the way.

We listened.

RewardPay is now available as a payment option in Tax Traders.

More value from paying tax

RewardPay gives eligible clients the option to pay tax using their business credit card through Tax Traders.

For clients, that means:

• Earning Airpoints on tax payments.
• Added flexibility around how tax payments are made.

How it works

The process is simple:

1. Let your clients know that this is a payment option for their tax payments.
2. When it comes time to making a payment, your client can log in to RewardPay, find 'Tax Traders tax payment' from the list of tax pooling providers, and make their payment.
3. Your clients should make sure that their IRD number has been added in RewardPay as we’ll need this to reconcile the payment when it arrives in our bank account.

Important note

Clients should allow an extra two working days for RewardPay payments to reach Tax Traders before the tax date.

For example, if a tax date falls on a Monday, payment should be made by the previous Wednesday
