Community partnerships

As part of our commitment to building a flourishing New Zealand, we’re privileged to partner with several community organisations working on the frontlines to relieve poverty, build stronger families and bring hope to a world that needs it.

Our support in this area is multi-faceted – including funding, providing strategic advice, and organising fundraising events.

Here are a few of the charities we’re passionate about.

QES: Quality Education Services

Bringing help and hope through free education, social services and employment training

QES has an inspiring vision to bring help and hope to people of all ages through free education and employment training. From automotive and carpentry courses to life skills training and job placement, QES removes barriers to success and empowers people to thrive throughout Aotearoa. We love their hands-on approach and heart for community partnership.

World Vision

Supporting Syrian refugee children to reach their potential

World Vision is an international organisation committed to helping children, families and communities overcome poverty and injustice, regardless of their religion, race, gender, ethnicity or ability. Through World Vision NZ, Tax Traders has been supporting families affected by the Syrian crisis – helping them gain access to clean water, safe sanitation and hygiene kits. As the conflict moves into its 13th year, many Syrian children are still not engaged in formal education and are not receiving adequate support to process the trauma they have endured.

Tika

Legal services to individuals who have experienced sexual harm.

People often choose not to report sexual harm because they feel alone, fear they won’t be believed, and don’t have the confidence to navigate the legal system on their own. Tika is New Zealand's first legal charity, boldly taking action by providing a new, safe, and supported pathway for individuals aged 16 and over to seek justice together. Their secure platform allows survivors to register their experiences and take the first step to breaking the cycle of harm. Tika is supported by Tax Traders. Further than recurring annual donations, Tika will be woven into our Women in Tax network.
